Pitt Law’s exchange arrangement with Paris I allows selected Pitt Law JD students to study at France’s leading law school for one year, earning a French LLM degree while also being able to apply their coursework towards their Pitt Law credit hour requirements.
The Paris I LLM is taught entirely in French. General information about the Paris I LLM is provided in the bilingual brochure published by Paris I.
Interested students should contact Professor Vivian Curran for more information.
Pitt Law students who participate in the exchange pay tuition and fees to Pitt at normal full-time rates (in-state or out-of-state as applicable), and are not charged any separate tuition by Paris I. Students are responsible for all other costs of participation, including travel, housing, meals, and books and supplies. Participating students may remain eligible for financial aid during their exchange year, but should contact Meme Jeffries to confirm.
