Thanks to the generosity of Pitt Law alumnus Todd S. Shenkin (LAW ‘94), an International Legal Studies Endowed Scholarship Fund has been established to support students with a demonstrated interest in international and comparative law. The scholarship is open to rising second- and third-year JD students as well as incoming LLM students. Applicants are evaluated on the following criteria: 1) a demonstrated interest in a legal career involving international and/or comparative law;2) meaningful engagement in activities that reflect a commitment to the rule of law on an international scale, such as extracurriculars, research, publications, moot court or arbitration competitions, internships, or relevant work experience; 3) strong academic performance, particularly as a student of Pitt Law; and 4) demonstrated financial need. Applications are due in the spring and can be obtained by contacting Marie Hamblett, Program Administrator. -
